born c. 1746 in Charles City Co. Va. and died May 16, 1779 in Va. Also that he
lived in Charles
and James City Co.s in Va. Christianna was still living as she was named as his
widow.
Christina Shields Minge married 2nd Collier Harrison (eldest son of Robert Harrison)

Daughter of William Hunt, Jr & Tabitha Minge
A deed in Goochland Co. Va., dated November 18, 1741 (deed book 4, page 359), from William Allen recites that in consideration of the fact that William Allen and Mary his wife relict of Robert Minge, deceased, have released to the said Tabitha by deed of even date all right of dower of the said Mary in 375 acres of land lying in Charles City Co., whereof the said Robert died seised, and in consideration further of 16 pounds etc., said grantors release and confirm to said William Allen and his assigns all rights and interest in certain slaves set apart by said William for dower for the said Mary.

(Marriage bond between Field Jefferson and Mary Hunt Minge Allen)
"The following articles was this day made and muterly agreed upon and confirmed between Field Jefferson of Lunenburgh Co. and Mary Allen of Albermarle Co. (To wit) Whereas there is a marriage sddenly intended between the said Field Jefferson and Mary Allen it is agreed that the said Field will give the said Mary lieve to give and dispose of one Negro man when and to whom she shall think proper emediately after her mariage, and the residue of her estate at the day of her death in case he should be the longest liver so that the said Field his heirs & c shall not enjoy nor be posest with any part of it after her death, and the said Mary for her part doth by these presents agree and oblige herself to give up deliver and relinquish all her rite and dower to his heirs execotors & c emidiately after the said Field Jefferson's death. In penelty thereof we do bind ourselves each to either our heirs & c in the just and full sum of five hundred pounds current money of Virginia. In witnes whereof we have hereunto set our hands and seals this Interlin'd our heirs & c before sign'd
