The last will & testament of John Mingge was proved on Aug. 1777 (Court order book 30-page 449-Chesterfield Co. Va.) bequeathed to his son John Mingge certain items and the remainder of his estate to his wife Mary Mingge during her natural life and at her decease to be equally divided between the surviving heirs (thus indicating more than one child)

Some information taken from the Will of George William Hunt Minge with his
seal on 11 Feb 1808. JMB has copy. In this will he refers to Collier Harrison
as his friend and executor. He refers to John Wilison as husband to Mary
Willison (who is refered to as the aunt of GWH Minge's daughter, Mary
Dandridge. This couple is left in charge of the minor children of GWH Minge.
Mary Willison's daughter (Frances Lucy Willison) is referred to as GWH's god
daughter. Frances is also refered to as the cousin of Mary Dandridge (GWHM's
daugter)
THE TWO SONS (George and David) ARE TO CHOSE BETWEEN 2 PLANTATIONS. ONE "ROWE"
AND THE OTHER PLANTATION IN N.C.
